More Than Just Marketing: The Purpose Behind True Marketing SG

The Leap That Built True Marketing SG

Tanpreet Singh Jattana founded True Marketing SG with one core belief: that he was meant for more than the traditional rat race. Determined to escape the predictability of an 8-to-5 life, he took a bold leap into entrepreneurship. The early years tested his resilience, marked by financial instability and the sacrifice of a social life. But for Tanpreet, those were necessary trade-offs. His business became his everything, a 24/7 commitment driven by discipline and a deep-rooted desire to create something truly his own.

The Weight of Uncertainty in Entrepreneurship

Among the many challenges Tanpreet encountered, the most daunting was the uncertainty of self-employment. Without a fixed monthly income or corporate safety net, every decision felt critical. “You don’t get pay cheques, you get what you earn,” he explains. Navigating that instability while building a company from scratch required immense mental strength and clarity.

The Entrepreneurial Origin Story

Tanpreet’s journey into marketing began with a simple goal: to pay for his university fees. He started an online business selling carpets from China on Shopee, Lazada, and Carousell. That experience introduced him to digital marketing and e-commerce. As he self-learned web design and advertising, his skills evolved into freelance work for small businesses, laying the groundwork for what would become True Marketing SG.

A Life of Discipline - Hustling with Purpose

Balancing business and personal life for Tanpreet meant embracing structure and sacrifice. Social events and weekend leisure gave way to a strict daily routine of prayer, work, fitness, and rest. Gymming, in particular, became a mental and physical anchor. “It keeps my mental health stable,” he shares. That discipline fuels his productivity and fortifies his drive to stay focused on long-term goals.

Honest Marketing in a World of Gimmicks

What sets True Marketing SG apart is its unwavering commitment to honesty. The agency was built in response to industry norms of overselling and overcharging. “I treat my client’s business like my own,” Tanpreet says. Rather than relying on flashy promises, his team focuses on real relationships, fair pricing, and transparency — values that define both the brand and its name.

The Entrepreneur's Inner Battle

Entrepreneurship, Tanpreet admits, is exhausting. “There’s always the next challenge.” Yet the experience has sharpened his resilience. He’s traded impulse for discipline and embraced the mindset of a “dark horse in a long race.” His faith in Sikhi plays a central role. Prayer grounds him; fitness powers him. “It’s like I used to swim in a pool alone. Now, with God, I’m in an ocean.” This blend of spirituality and structure keeps him moving forward with purpose.

The True Edge of True Marketing SG

Among the agency’s core services, SEO, PPC, and social media, SEO stands out. “SEO demands everything: strong design, good content, links, and technical precision,” Tanpreet explains. Unlike many firms, he doesn’t outsource the work blindly. Instead, he remains deeply involved, applying a clear, tested formula. Armed with top-tier tools and hands-on oversight, True Marketing SG consistently delivers Page 1 results with confidence.

Winning Trust Through Results, Not Sales Pitches

Recent collaborations with businesses like Singapore Painting Services and CleanologySG were built not on promises, but proof. Initially hesitant to work with a marketing firm, the clients were won over when Tanpreet offered his services at minimal cost and only requested payment after delivering results. “That opened the door,” he says. The approach reflects his core philosophy: results first, trust earned.

Growing with Integrity

For Tanpreet, the thrill of expansion isn’t about magazine features or massive revenue; it’s about building a team that uplifts local SMEs. While he’s open to other business ventures, True Marketing SG will always stand for integrity. His goal is growth with purpose, not profit at the cost of ethics.

Building a Clan, Not Just a Team

Hiring has been one of Tanpreet’s biggest challenges. Too often, he’s met candidates chasing paychecks rather than purpose. What he’s working toward is a values-driven core team, a “clan” bound by loyalty and sincerity. He envisions a group that sees work as service, takes pride in helping others, and commits fully to the mission.

Advice from Tanpreet Singh Jattana for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Tanpreet Singh Jattana

Founder of True Marketing SG

I’ll share a few things that might help aspiring entrepreneurs — lessons I’ve learned through a tough journey.

First, it all starts with self-belief. If you don’t believe in yourself, even God won’t. You need that fire inside: “I have the power to shake the universe.” Whether it’s true or not doesn’t matter — what matters is that you believe it. That unshakable self-belief is the foundation.

Second, don’t let others’ doubt or your own failures break you. It’s guaranteed people won’t believe in you — not even your family sometimes — because most of the world are employees, not wired like leaders. Their advice comes from fear and lack of self-belief, not power and strength. You’ll hear things like:

“Let it go.”
“Be realistic.”
“This is impossible.”

Ignore all of it. You are a king. A leader. And if you hold your self-belief tight, you’ll walk through failure like an eagle rising higher each time.

Third, be sincere. Be honest. Do clean business.
Don’t chase shortcuts, tricks, or money grabs. People can sense lies — even if you have the best product. I’m not the smoothest speaker, but my clients feel my sincerity. And that’s what wins the deal. If you play dirty, you’ll live stressed. But clean, honest business brings peace — and wealth that stays.
