Kaizenaire.com carries advertising. This page sets out how we label it and what advertisers can and cannot buy, so readers know what they are reading and advertisers know what they are getting.

What counts as sponsored

Any content a business has paid for, or provided goods, services or hosting in exchange for. That includes sponsored features, directory listings, co-branded guides and featured interviews arranged commercially.

How we label it

  • Sponsored articles carry a visible label identifying them as sponsored content.
  • Display advertising is served in recognisable ad positions and, where served programmatically, carries the network’s own labelling.
  • Outbound links in paid placements are marked rel="sponsored", in line with Google’s requirements.
  • Where we have been hosted, given samples or received products, we say so in the article.

What advertisers can buy

  • A sponsored feature about their business.
  • A directory listing in the relevant category.
  • Display placements and category sponsorships.
  • A featured interview.
  • Placement of a promotion or offer.

What advertisers cannot buy

  • A position in an editorial ranking or “best of” guide.
  • Removal of the sponsorship label.
  • Dofollow links.
  • Removal or alteration of accurate editorial coverage, of their business or anyone else’s.
  • Coverage presented as independent when it is not.

Approval and accuracy

Advertisers review and approve their own sponsored content before publication. We will not publish claims we believe to be untrue or misleading, and we may decline or ask for changes to copy that we think would mislead a reader.

Affiliate links

Some pages contain affiliate links, which may earn us a commission if you buy through them at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links do not influence what we recommend. Where a page contains them, we say so on the page.

Categories we do not accept

We do not accept advertising for content that is illegal in Singapore, or for anything we consider misleading or harmful to readers. We reserve the right to decline any booking without giving a reason.
