Terms and Conditions:
- This promotion is available from 21 February 2024 and shall end on a date to be determined by Maybank at its absolute discretion (“Promotion Period”).
- To qualify for promotional rates, the placement of the Singapore Dollar Time Deposit/Term Deposits-i (“Time Deposit”) must meet a minimum amount of S$20,000 or the amount stipulated by Maybank from time to time (the “Minimum Amount”).
- The promotional rate of interest/profit (“Promotional Rate”) for Time Deposit is applicable to individuals and non-individual accounts per the tenure and rates listed.
- The interest on the Singapore Dollar Time Deposit will be computed daily based on a 365-day year (or a 366-day year in the case of a leap year) and will be payable only on maturity of the Time Deposit at the contracted rate of interest.
- The profit on the Singapore Dollar Term Deposit-i will be computed daily based on a 365-day year (or a 366-day year in the case of a leap year) and paid upfront into customers’ relevant Maybank Current or Savings Account.
- No interest will be paid for premature withdrawals within three (3) months from the placement date, and different conditions apply for premature withdrawals after three (3) months.
- Partial or premature withdrawal is considered an early termination.
- The Time Deposit will be renewed for the same tenure based on prevailing rates unless otherwise instructed by the customer.
- This promotion cannot be combined with other Maybank promotions unless specified.
- Maybank reserves the right to exclude any participant without obligation or notice and to make final decisions on all related matters.
- Maybank is not liable for any loss or damages incurred in connection with this promotion.
- Maybank reserves the right to amend or terminate the promotion at its discretion without prior notice.
- In case of inconsistencies, these terms prevail over marketing collaterals.
